Anyone out there a punk fan? Or maybe you are a Guardians of the Galaxy fan? If you are into either one of these you’ll instantly start singing when I say Ch-Ch-Ch-Cherry Bomb!

I was listening to the Runaways classic tune when I came up with this Bridal Shower, getting to boogie around my studio was literally the cherry on top of the cake!

I felt like a throwback song needed a retro look and feel, so, I paired the cherry red with aqua & pink.  I combined this retro look with punchy modern elements.  Using pom-poms to create cherries on stalks and iridescent make-up bags for fun cherry themed favors.  Your bridesmaids are sure to love these bags filled with wedding day essentials, get the full shopping list and DIY HERE.

The entire shower is filled with lush glossy red cherries.  From cherry fruit baskets as centerpieces, cherry pies, lollipops, cupcakes, a Cherry Bomb Cocktail and a banner created from mini red beach balls.  These balls were such a great find. Cost effective and perfectly red and round like a cherry.

Apart from filling this bridal shower with lots of cherries you’ll also find it is filled with cherry sweet puns!
