Do you and your fiancé find yourself drawn to the dark and magical feel of all things Halloween and witchy, but want to make sure your wedding stays elegant? This Spellbound Wedding is sure to inspire you and charm your guests.
Keeping this witchy Halloween themed wedding sophisticated involves utilizing rich colors and textures. Bringing in natural elements to keep the forest-vibe throughout the reception.
Black satin table covers, burgundy napkins, gold tableware and monogrammed napkin pins give this wedding a luxurious and dramatic feel. The use of woodsy accents and floral arrangements, such as jars filled with dried fruit, roots, feathers, wood stick drink stirrers creates an earthy contrast. Also, using green and rose-colored moss throughout the decor makes guests really feel like they are in an enchanted forest celebrating the conjuring couple.
Halloween-themed decorations become elegant when updated with glamorous DIYs. I spray painted a skull glossy black with a breath of gold glitter and added a moss and floral crown to create a spooky & sophisticated table centerpiece.
Crystals, sage smudge sticks, spell books and skulls all added to the mystical magic motif. I also combined the fall feel of pumpkins with the dark romance of a witchcraft inspired wedding by creating these Floral Phase of the Moon Pumpkins. Get the details on how to create them HERE.
Keep guests bewitched by having them mix up “love potions” at the bar. I used the same deep-red florals that I used on the pumpkins, and the glamouress black and gold palette to create a bar sign inviting guests to do just that. Find out how to make your own HERE.
I definitely wanted to create a way to thank guests for coming to the spellbinding ceremony. In keeping with the spell-binding theme of the wedding, I created a spell boxes for each guest. The box was filled with dried herbs, crystals, and scented beads.
Your guests will be enchanted with these wedding favors and trying out their own positive intention spells. Follow the instructions to make yours HERE.
