I just love to celebrate love! I find Valentine’s Day a great day to focus on and celebrate love in all of it’s forms, whether that’s with a partner, friends, family, pets, or anyone else! And if you’ve been following me for a while, you also know I have an intense love for Glam Fete’s fringe backdrops. That’s why I was so excited to combine these loves by collaborating with Bri from Glam Fete to design and create a LOVE-ly Valentine’s Day Fringe Heart Backdrop!

For a behind the scenes peek – here is the concept drawing I sent to Bri for the backdrop. I loved the idea of an ombre look, with pops of iridescence throughout.
Results
Bri executed my vision PERFECTLY. I am so thrilled with how it turned out. It’s great for Instagram-worthy photo ops!
Isn’t is gorgeous? I used it as a backdrop for the pretty-in-pink Galentine’s day drink and dessert cart above, as well as for the backdrop for my Valentine’s Day Craft Party for Kids!
I love it so much, I might just keep it hanging up somewhere year around…what do you think?

How to Hang your Backdrop
The backdrop comes as a straight rope of fringe, but don’t worry – shaping it into a heart is easy peasy! Just use a pencil or other erasable utensil to sketch out the shape of a heart on the wall, and then use thumbtacks to create the shape. After that, it’s as simple as hanging the backdrop up with the tacks one by one, and then trimming any pieces that hang too long. Check out my video below to see how I did it!
