Are you a color lover like me? Don’t get me wrong, I can get really into some pastels and neutrals from time to time, but my heart is COLORFUL. That’s why I was so excited to use all the colors in my new Bright and Colorful Easter Celebration. There’s something super cheerful about the rainbow decor and table setting, and pops of metallic gold throughout elevate it all and make it modern. Read on to see how I set it all up!
How to Set up your Colorful Easter Celebration

DIY Colorful Easter Egg Backdrop
First, I created a cool multi-dimensional Easter Egg backdrop using honeycomb decorations, gold fringe, and gold beads. By only opening them halfway, th honeycombs are easy to hang on the wall and layer on top of each other using glue dots.
Easter Basket Tables
Next, I set up a couple of tables of Easter baskets for the guests. I covered the tables with white tablecloths and a layer of faux grass to place the baskets in. I filled the baskets with all sorts of fun easter trinkets and treats, and added a few plastic eggs to the faux grass to really make it look like part of an Easter egg hunt.
Colorful Easter Tablesetting
Then, I set my table. I started with a faux grass runner down the middle with rows of colorful Easter eggs I set out in an ombre rainbow pattern. I sprinkled some metallic gold eggs throughout for some extra bling. This DIY runner is so easy to make with plastic eggs and inexpensive egg holders, but makes a big impact!
For my place settings, I used colorful placemats layered with striped dinner plates and solide dessert plates. I topped each off with a gold-striped napkin, and an adorable little egg holder with a golden egg of treats for the guest. Next to each place setting, I added some gold-dipped wooden utensils and small drink jars with gold tops and gold-striped straws. Finally, each guest got a set of Easter tattoo favors. On the corners of the table, I filled empty space with rainbow popping toys, gold bead necklaces, and bright pink popcorn containers.
