Are you looking for a fresh fall theme for your wedding? Look no further. What says fresh and fall more than a beautiful orchard of apples on a crisp fall day? These ideas for an apple-themed wedding would be perfect for a wedding in an actual orchard. However, they could also easily be used to transform any space into a gorgeous fall scene showcasing a couple who have found the “apple of their eye”. Bonus: apples are so affordable! Read on to find out how I created this Apple of My Eye Wedding!

How to Create a Fall Apple-Themed Wedding
Entrance
First, as guests walk in, they’re invited to go “apple picking” to find their seats at the seating chart table. I draped this table with burlap and a vertical teal velvet runner. These contrasting fabrics created a nice blend of color and texture. I added wood cuttings, greenery, red checkered napkins, and candles in teal holders as table decor. A few decorative bottles of cider and galvanized vases with apples and greenery added additional nods to the theme.
Then, behind the decor, was the seating chart where guests could find apples with their names on them by their table assignments. Get the details for how to create this DIY Apple Crate Seating Chart HERE.
TIP: Displaying the table decor in an organic rather than very organized way keeps the feel of the area laid back rather than stuffy.
Tables
Next, I set up my tables. This time I used the luxurious velvet fabric over the whole table. Then I created gorgeous DIY Apple and Birch Centerpieces that really added to the fall orchard feel. Learn how to make your own HERE.
For the place settings, I started with large wood slices as chargers. On top of those, I layered delicate white plates and red and white checkered napkins. I added gold cutlery, clear wine glasses, and mason jars with red striped straws. Finally, I placed an apple in the center of the place setting, with guests’ names spelled out in wooden tiles underneath.
TIP: Add the couple’s monogram or another symbol to the apples with edible imprints from Fun to Eat Fruit for an extra special personalized touch.
Desserts
After dinner, it’s time for dessert! I set up a rustic farm stand to serve as a cake area. I draped it with a greenery garland and added a punny yet romantic phrase on the chalkboard sign above the stand: “Apple-y ever after”. The cake was placed on a teal cake stand and featured a ceramic apple cake topper which read “Apple of My Eye”. I surrounded the cake with the same decor elements I used on the seating chart table.
Then, for another fun and interactive dessert option, I set up a DIY Caramel Apple Dipping Station where guests can dip fresh apples or apple slices into warm caramel, and then sprinkle them with a variety of toppings. I added a display of donuts for a bit of extra fall fun. Find out how to make this dessert station HERE.
TIP: Stack whole apples in clear cylindrical vases for easy and effective themed table decor.
