Having a winter wedding around the holidays doesn’t mean that everything you do has to be traditional red and green. A bachelorette party is one place, in particular, where it is easy and fun to go a bit wild! Inspired by the bright colors and designs of some of Oriental Trading’s bachelorette party goods, I designed a Bach Bash that incorporates holiday decor in non-traditional colors, and celebratory confetti anywhere and everywhere possible! If you are in charge of creating the perfect winter wedding bachelorette party for a bride, read on to find out how to set up the Confetti Christmas Bachelorette Party of her dreams!
P.S. I got most of my supplies at Oriental Trading, check out my LTK post for an easy shopping list of many of the supplies!
Rather than set up formal place settings, I set up a super fun grazing table with plenty of bright confetti-themed plates and napkins, where guests could nibble from an amazing gold-polka-dotted dessert charcuterie plate while keeping the party going. And what better way to decorate a table for a confetti-themed party than with confetti itself? Easy, and so fun! I popped a Bachelorette Bash confetti popper and spread the pink, white, and gold confetti all over the table. For a festive coordinating holiday addition, I added pink painted trees with gold stars as centerpieces. Finally, I spread cute photo props and favors around to remind everyone to have fun and take lots of pictures!
Speaking of taking pictures, I wanted to make sure there was an area of the room that could serve as a good photo backdrop for the bride and her babes. Since it is a Christmas party, the fireplace and mantle seemed perfect. I filled the fireplace with tissue paper ball “ornaments” and painted logs in the party colors.
Decorating the mantle was easy. I used a vase of photo props as decor on one side, and a beautiful confetti cake on the other. Confetti-themed favor bags filled in the middle of the mantle perfectly. I added a confetti “Bride’s Babes” banner in front, and then placed ornaments around the mantle for extra holiday magic. But the perfect combination of holiday magic and bachelorette fun had to be the DIY Confetti Ornament Wreath I made. It looked amazing hanging right above the mantle! Learn how to make your own HERE.
Two brightly colored Christmas trees, one pink and one blue, framed the fireplace. I added large white bows as tree toppers, and the opposite color of garland on each tree. Then I added sweet DIY Bride’s Babes Confetti Ornaments to both of the trees. These doubled as favors for each of the babes to take home with them at the end of the bash! You can find out how to create them HERE.
Last, but certainly not least- I created a Confetti Christmas bar cart for those babes wanting to lean a little more naughty than nice this year. I made sure to provide plenty of options for drinking vessels. These included bright pink champagne flutes, a giant “Drunk on Love” fishbowl, and “I Do Crew” shot glasses. The rest of the cart featured champagne chilled with confetti ice cubes, additional favors in cute confetti bags, and a drinking card game sure to get everyone in a “festive” mood, fast! Above the bar cart, I hung a DIY Confetti Cheers Hoop that went perfectly with the theme. All of the details for how to make your own can be found HERE.
