This was one of my favorite weddings to create over the summer.  I love the easy elegance of a garden setting and in my book a bright and cheerful color palette is always in style. If love vibrant color combinations paired with Kate Spade classics, like a bold stripe, this preppy wedding is just for you!

I’m a low-key kinda girl at heart and the “preppy’ style really appeals to my laid-back, fun-loving side while still looking crisp and classic. It is always important to me to ensure a wedding is full of thoughtful, personal details that are meaningful to  the new couple.

Monograms, which are typical of a preppy style, are a fabulous way to meaningfully represent the new couple.  A fun way to incorporate a monogram is with cookies.  You can even use them on your wedding cake like I did.

A lot of the new hot-trends like neon, pineapples and acrylics fit perfectly with the preppy aesthetic.  Pair with bright popping pink and  trim details like bows and striped ribbon for a chic, stylish look. Add a mint julep and your rocking the southern charm.  Find out how to make your own HERE.

One of my favorite details at this wedding were the “Wifey” and “Hubby” balloons I tied to the back of the chairs.  Such a cheeky addition! Get the full DIY for these chair-backs HERE.

I hope you enjoyed a few of the fun details from this fun-loving Preppy Pink and Green Garden Wedding.
