With a variety of juices, fruits, and garnishes, mimosa bars provide the perfect way for bridal shower guests to create their own versions of a delicious and refreshing drink. They’re also a great place to showcase the theme of the shower. With the help of products from Oriental Trading, I styled a mimosa bar cart three different ways to show how easy it can be to create this bridal shower staple.
Glamorous Tropical Luau
The key to keeping this luau bar cart glamorous is incorporating luxe gold elements throughout. Pineapple decor looks chic in glittering gold. I also used gold leaf placemats, and gold luau stickers to decorate my carafes and cups. Then, I brought color to my cart by adding fresh fruit and tropical flowers throughout. TIP: Don’t forget to include a non-alcoholic option so everyone is included. Sparkling water and fruit juice can make perfect alternatives to mimosas and can be served in a pretty drink dispenser for easy pouring!
Beautiful Boho Bash
Softer, natural elements make this bar cart the perfect pick for a boho bride. I used floral elements in a variety of soft pinks. Then, I matched them with a blush tray, cups, pitcher, vase, and candle holder. Clear crystal cut dishes held my fruit garnishes and brought a touch of classy elegance to this setup. Finally, I placed a rattan lantern on the ground next to the cart for more of the natural vibe. Get the details on how to create your own Boho Mimosa Bar Backdrop and Menu Sign HERE.
TIP: Use edible flowers for an extra dose of boho beauty. They look gorgeous as decor in one of the clear dishes, and can be used as garnishes in the drinks themselves!
Minimalist Modern Brunch
Keeping things simple doesn’t mean boring! My minimalist mimosa bar cart utilized modern geometric shapes, clean lines, bright colors, and lush greens. Bright white trays and napkins with glamorous gold geometric details kept things modern and chic. I used simple clear dishes to hold my ice, fruit, and garnishes, but upped their aesthetic appeal by using ones in fun geometric shapes. I kept my florals simple and green by using ferns and succulents, but added bright pops of color by also using fruit as decor. Additional pops of color came from my juice options themselves, which I placed in clear carafes. Find out how to make your own Modern Mimosa Bar Cart Sign HERE.
TIP: Use actual fruit as fun carafe toppers and drink labels! It’s as easy as adding letter stickers to the outside of washed, unpeeled fruits and popping them on top of their respective carafes.
No matter the particular style of the bride-to-be, a mimosa bar cart is the perfect addition to any bridal shower, and an easy place to play up the theme.
