Looking to host an Easter celebration that will actually excite the older kids in your life? Forget simple egg hunts and basic basket fillings – tweens and teens crave activities that challenge their creativity and feel age-appropriate. That’s why this year I created an Easter Craft Party that struck the perfect balance between festive spring traditions and cool craft projects that didn’t feel “babyish.” With the right mix of fun crafts, sweet treats, and freedom for personal expression, you can keep everyone engaged (and off their phones!) for a memorable spring celebration. Read on to see how you can recreate this fun Easter party with the young people in your life!
P.S. I got most of my supplies for this party at Oriental Trading. You can find many of them on my LTK post!
How to Set up an Entertaining Easter Craft Party for Teens & Tweens
Table Setting
First, I set up a backdrop of bold and colorful twisted fringe streamers, along with a larger-than-life Easter bunny cardboard stand – perfect for photo ops! Then, I set up a simple white table in front of it, with a “Color Your Own” Easter table runner to (literally) set the table for creativity from the start.
For my place settings, I used pastel pink checkered dinner plates layered with yellow dessert plates and light blue napkins. On top of this, I placed a yellow popcorn box that had the cutest easter bunny cutout peeking out from the top.
Each setting also got a personalized Easter bunny tumbler for drinks, and a bunny ear tube container of color-coordinated candy.
In the center of the table, I placed light blue egg cartons of craft embellishments for easy access. They also created a practical and pretty table centerpiece!
Craft Kits
Next, I set up craft kits for each guest. I used pink basket-style crates filled with a layer of pink paper shred to hold all the craft bases, plus some of the supplies every guest would need. These included cartons of eggs, ceramic Easter egg planters, wooden egg containers, trinket boxes, and Easter-themed gift tags to paint and decorate. Each one also held craft glue, paints, paint pallets, paint brushes, and a cup for water to wash brushes in.
These kits were a convenient way to organize and hold the crafts and supplies, and doubled as an easy way for guests to take all of the creations home at the end of the party.
Craft Cart
Next to the table, I set up a rolling cart with even more craft supplies. This cart is easy to move around the table for whoever needs it most while crafting!
I decorated the craft cart with a pink, blue, and yellow Easter egg garland to match the rest of the party, and used large candy jars to hold some of the additional supplies. I also added more plastic easter eggs around all the supplies on each level of the cart for decoration.
Candy Favor Bar
Finally, I set up an area for a mini candy favor bar. I used another rolling cart for this, and set it up in front of some adorable color-coordinating Easter decór.
More glass candy jars and some plastic scoops held an assortment of candy that guests could grab themselves.
I also added some more bunny ear tube containers with some other candy options.
After all the crafting winds down, you’ll be amazed at the creative masterpieces produced at this Easter Craft Party, and how much fun the guests had!
