As the creative director of Fern & Maple, Natalie brings her expansive vision and imagination to create content for brands.

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Natalie has ventured far from her Kiwi roots. She remains inspired by childhood memories of acting as an event stylist for her mum’s elaborate get-togethers and hours spent rummaging through antique sales and up-cycling found objects with her dad.

A 15-year career in international finance took Natalie from the shores of the Southwest Pacific through Asia, Europe, and America. Her extensive travels immersed her in a world of varied sights, sounds and textures, all of which influence her creativity. With a head for business, Natalie’s heart nonetheless lured her back to entertaining, lending a world of experience to her life-long passion.

Natalie brings extensive planning, organizational and relationship management experience to her business from her years in Finance.  She now offers party content creation and brand styling for brands; With Fern & Maple, Natalie is now bringing her life-long dream to life by making others’ dreams come true with beautifully designed and exquisitely detailed inspiration.

Natalie’s blog also reflects her unique style, the life of a busy mom and party stylist, and showcases her own DIYs, vintage finds and party inspiration.

Natalie lives in Portland with her husband, David, their two children, Harrison and Parker, and their chocolate lab, Elsa.
