Using one of these themes will cut down on your search for “cute décor” as you can use pre-made banners, balloons and centerpieces. Most stores and party décor vendors have something you can use that fits in with these themes. Add a congratulations banner or balloons that spell out congrats for a “pow” statement!

No matter what the event I always love to incorporate personalization.
For graduation celebrations this is even more important. Consider reflecting on the life of the guest of honor, memories from early childhood through to this awesome graduation achievement; a visual timeline of their life – nothing really does this like photographs or video. There are many options for showcasing photos, a photo wall, frames on a special entrance table, hanging photos from above or a photo collage like the “2017” below.
If you have a TV or screen available you could also consider a continuous stream of photograph still’s, a slideshow or even video messages from guests.

Celebrating, to me, just makes life more fun! It creates those memories that we look back on with joy.
Celebrating a graduate brings the opportunity to incorporate memory making across all generations. It is easy to create memories and keepsakes by incorporating advice from the older generation as well ass inspirational quotes & well wishes from the younger generation.
Create a sign in wall, a wishing tree or provide something unique like postcards for your guests to use to leave these messages.
Collecting these from guests also has the added benefit of guests feeling they have “had their say”. Not everyone gets to spend a large amount of time with the graduate but the guest of honor will be able to look back and reflect on these tidbits long into the future.
Think of it as a creative guest book option! Now in saying this I’m always going to hope there are some who take the phrase “give words of wisdom or inspiration” with a little tongue-in-cheek! Humor is everything!
Make Food, Drink & Clean Up Self Serve
If you are like me and no chef, make it easy on yourself. Either use Evite Vendors to book a caterer, or if you’ve chosen to keep costs down and handle the food yourself, incorporate a self serve option like a taco bar. Other self serve options, a BBQ selection, take-out from your grad’s favorite spot, pizzas or make use of delicious deli platters from the grocery store. Many grocery stores now sell pre-made platters especially for parties, you just need to order, pick up and leave it to your guests to do the rest. You’ll even be given disposable tableware and napkins.
For drinks, create a central chilled location like a bathtub, blow up or kiddies pool. Fill with ice and drinks and you are done!
Finally, when it comes to clean up make sure you use trash bags inside labelled bins so they can be easily lifted out and disposed of at the end of the night.
